About cathy

Catherine (Cathy) Sobey began her career in Nursing. She has been a Licensed Practical Nurse since 1995. She was inspired to pursue a license in Esthetics while working at a Medical spa as a nurse in Manhattan in the 90's. She became a New York State Licensed Esthetician in 2001. 

After living and working in NYC, she moved out to Long Island and was hired at "Lorilee's Aromatherapy" Day spa in Oyster Bay. She had seven successful years there. Cathy opened up her own business in Glen Head N.Y. in May of 2008. She has recently celebrated the achievement of being in business for 16 years.

Cathy has added certifications for the advanced treatment of acne and sensitive skin to her credentials. She is continuously expanding her education and expertise in the field. Cathy enjoys being able to expertly and sensitively provide skin care services to the wonderful people that she has been privileged to work with. Cathy considers herself a problem solver and listens very closely to the questions and concerns of her clients to what is said and what is not said. She works diligently to make each and every person look and feel their very best through the art and science of Esthetics.
